The Chiranjeevi-Balaiah films are expected to compete at the box office next Sankranti. Not only will there be Pongal competition among the heroes, but also among the top music directors. ‘Waltheru Veeraiya’ music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ is composed by Taman.
It was a tough competition between these two for Sankranti 2020. Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikuntha Puramulo released during 2020 Sankranthi. Devi gave a super hit album to ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’. But ‘Ala Vaikuntha Puramulo’ was a smash hit giving Taman the upper hand.
‘Ala Vaikunthapuramulo’ took Thaman to the next level and made him the top music director with a billion views. While Devi showed his strength with Pushpa, he was unable to match Taman. But this Sankranti is going to be tough for both of them. There hasn’t even been a single song released from either movie. As of now, only the teaser has been released of Devi and Taman’s work.
Apart from soulful songs, Taman composed a goosebumps-inducing background score for ‘Akhanda’. Devi always provides Chiranjeevi with very special music. Every album in this combo was a super hit. Lately, Chiranjeevi hasn’t got a great album. ‘Acharya’ songs failed to impress.
In light of this, mega fans hope that Devi will give Waltheru Veeraya a mesmerizing album. The Nandamuri fans are confident that Taman will do his best for Veerasimha Reddy.
