It is widely known that senior director Gunasekhar has been working on the script of his most ambitious project, Hiranyakasyapa from the past few years. But keeping aside the massive project, yesterday, Gunasekhar announced a new film.
Titled Shaakuntalam, the film is said to be a love story that is based on Adi Parva from Mahabharata. Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that star heroine Anushka Shetty has high chances to do the female lead role in the film. It remains to be seen if Anushka still agrees to do a romantic love story or not.
Gunasekhar’s daughter Neelima Guna will be bankrolling the project. Senior music composer Mani Sharma will be scoring the music.
