The trend of biopics is on the rise in the Indian film industry. Though Bollywood has produced several biopics on film stars, sports personalities, and social workers, Tollywood has mostly made biopics on film stars. Biopics have been made on NTR and Savitri already and now a biopic on legendary actress Jamuna is all set to roll.
As per the sources, a star director from Kollywood has completed the script for the biopic and will begin shooting soon. Star actress Tamanna Bhatia will be playing the role of Jamuna in the movie.
More details about this impending biopic will be out soon. A star heroine of her time, Jamuna has acted alongside the superstars ANR and NTR in several movies. Some of her notable movies include Gundamma Katha, Missamma, Mooga Manasulu, and Mooga Nomu.
