Gopichand is one hero who has a good knack of selecting novel scripts which has equal commercial elements. Throughout his career, Gopichand has been experimenting despite luck not favouring him in commercial way. His movies like Ontari, Okkadunnadu, Chankya, Saahasam, Wanted and Gautham Nanda are some of them.
The actor who is in desperate need for a commercial hit had joined hands with Maruthi for Pakka Commercial movie which released yesterday and doing reasonably well at the box-office. However, Gopichand was not the first choice for this movie.
Maruthi had approached ‘Mass Maharaj’ Ravi Teja for the movie with the title Lawyer Saab. However, Ravi Teja declined the offer and went ahead with Ramesh Varma’s Khiladi movie which tanked miserably at the box-office.
