Raj Mehta, known for his work in acclaimed films like “Good Newwz” and “Jug Juggjeeyo,” is set to direct this upcoming venture, scripted by Anurag Kashyap. Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the film promises an intriguing dynamic between Tiger Shroff and Janhvi Kapoor, potentially enhanced by Varun Dhawan playing the antagonist.
Despite a tweet hinting at the birth of a new Bollywood universe called the “Assassin Cinematic Universe,” featuring Tiger Shroff and Janhvi Kapoor, and Varun Dhawan’s potential involvement as the villain, Karan Johar, on January 5th, clarified via Instagram that these announcements weren’t officially confirmed by Dharma Productions. He urged the media not to speculate about franchise continuations or new beginnings until concrete plans are in place.
Reports suggest a potential collaboration between Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan in “Dulhania 3,” directed by Shashank Khaitan, following their appearance together in 2023’s “Bawaal,” directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
Janhvi Kapoor is also involved in projects like “Mr. and Mrs. Mahi” with Rajkummar Rao, “Ulajh” with Gulshan Devaiah, and “Devara” with Jr. NTR.
