Suriya and Karthi, two prominent figures in Tamil cinema, have established themselves with a substantial fan base not only in Tamil cinema but also in other South Indian languages. Despite ongoing speculation about them collaborating on a film, it has yet to come to fruition. During a recent interview, Karthi expressed optimism about the project finally taking shape. He revealed that he had initial reservations but has now overcome them, stating, “I am determined to work on a meaningful project with my brother Suriya, and we are actively working towards making it a reality.”
Karthi acknowledged the eager anticipation of their fans regarding this collaboration. Meanwhile, Karthi is fully occupied with a slew of exciting films, including “Japan,” an action-packed thriller set to hit theaters during Diwali. Additionally, he has already completed half of the shooting for a fantasy-action drama. Fans can also look forward to “Khaidi 2,” a project helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, scheduled to begin production next year. Furthermore, Karthi has an upcoming project with C Prem Kumar, the director known for the acclaimed film “96.”
Simultaneously, Suriya has a busy schedule ahead with an impressive lineup of films, including his next venture, “Kanguva,” an ambitious pan-Indian action drama.
