Legendary director K Raghavendra Rao, who followed in the footsteps of his father KS Prakasa Rao to become a film director, is a rare phenomenon in the film industry. Although many directors in Tollywood have children, most of them pursued a career in acting than direction. Director K Raghavendra Rao’s son Prakash, EVV Satyanarayana’s sons Naresh and Rajesh, Ravi Raja Pinishetty’s son Aadi, Puri Jagannadh’s son Aakash, all of them pursued career in acting rather than direction.
Trivikram is an exception in this regard. He married at a young age, and his elder son is nearing graduation, which could indicate his readiness to follow in his father’s footsteps in the next few years.
According to Trivikram’s wife, Sai Saujanya, their son has a keen interest in directing and has already started analyzing camera angles and lenses used in scenes. With a veteran director like Trivikram to provide guidance on every aspect, including the story and screenplay, their son is being groomed as a director in the making.
Meanwhile, Saujanya has also begun her journey as a producer, having approved two scripts under Sitara Banner. Although there are rumors that one of the scripts may be a remake of the box office flop Butta Bomma, Saujanya is confident in her judgment.
She added that she is currently listening to scripts and overseeing the production office, but insiders may find her statement amusing, given her more involved role in the actual decision-making process.
