The upcoming entertainer Purushaha has already stirred plenty of buzz, thanks to its humorous first-look posters and quirky promotional lines. The film marks Pavan Kalyan’s debut as a lead actor, supported by an energetic ensemble featuring Saptagiri, Kasireddy Rajkumar, Vaishnavi Kokkura, Vishika and Hasini Sudheer. Presented by Battula Saraswathi under the Kalyan Productions banner and produced by Battula Koteswara Rao, the film is directed by Veeru Ulavala. It is gearing up for a lively theatrical release. Adding to the excitement, star filmmaker Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena and Peddi fame unveiled the film’s teaser.
The teaser starts on an intriguing and amusing note, backed by a dramatic voiceover that introduces the three protagonists: “Three valiant warriors continue their relentless battle to conquer the world. Their code of war leaves us in awe. Yet, no matter how many battles they win, there always remains a lingering sense that somewhere… a fragment of the enemy still survives…”
The narration takes a hilarious turn, revealing that these so-called mighty warriors are, in fact, tossed around like footballs by their wives. Completely exasperated, the trio heads to court seeking a divorce, setting the stage for a hilarious ride.
Director Veeru Ulavala deserves credit for shaping a highly relatable premise and presenting it with sharp humour. The dialogues are youthful, witty, and packed with contemporary flavour. The character sketches are vibrant and instantly connect with the viewer.
The comic trio- Pavan Kalyan, Saptagiri, and Kasireddy Rajkumar, delivered rib-tickling performances, while the inclusion of Vennela Kishore naturally amplifies the fun quotient. Leading ladies Vaishnavi Kokkura, Vishika, and Hasini Sudheer bring their own humorous spark, contributing effectively to the comedic tone. The supporting cast too performs with commendable timing.
On the technical front, Satish Muthyala’s colourful cinematography and Shravan Bharadwaj’s peppy musical score elevate the light-hearted mood. Koti handles the editing, Ravi Babu Dondapati crafts the art direction, and the production values appear polished and substantial.
With its lively storytelling, quirky premise, and strong comic performances, the teaser of Purushaha successfully raises expectations and sets the stage for a fun-filled entertainer.
