The popular Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam received a huge shock at a concert. He and his friend were injured during a scuffle at a concert in Mumbai. The incident occurred while Sonu Nigam was performing at a festival, where Shiv Sena MLA Prakash Phaterpekar from Uddhav Thackeray’s party reportedly misbehaved with Sonu Nigam’s manager,
Saira. This resulted in a physical altercation between Sonu Nigam’s friends, the MLA’s aides, and the singer and his friend were injured in the process. They were later taken to the hospital for treatment.
While the political leader claims that the scuffle occurred when Sonu Nigam was trying to leave the stage and some people rushed towards him to take selfies, Sonu Nigam’s team has contradicted this version of events. According to them, the MLA’s son first pushed Sonu Nigam’s bodyguard and then pushed the singer himself. Rabbani Khan, the son of Sonu Nigam’s maestro who was also present at the event, fell down from the stage during the scuffle and sustained multiple injuries. He was taken to Zen Hospital in Chembur for treatment.
