Teja’s upcoming women-oriented movie Sita, starring Kajal Aggarwal and Bellamkonda Sai in the lead role is all set to release on May 24. The film has wrapped up its censor procedures and was certified U/A with a run time of 161 minutes 22 seconds.
The movie Sita is a modern take on Ramayana where Kajal plays the role of Sita and Bellamkonda Sai plays the role of Lord Rama. Teja’s take on the character is completely contrary to the one in books. The character was inspired by the traits of modern women.
As soon as the trailer was released, it impressed the movie-goers and the expectations are decent. Jointly produced by Anil Sunkara and Abhishek Agarwal, the film also stars Mannara Chopra in the second lead role
