Ram Veerapaneni, a businessman and entrepreneur who is married to popular singer Sunitha. Has lodged a complaint at the Banjara Hills police station, claiming that he is facing a life-threatening situation.
According to Ram, he received a text message from a person named KK Lakshman, who claimed to be a member of the Film Producers Council, asking to meet him. However, Ram declined the request, after which he kept receiving multiple texts from the same number.
He eventually blocked the number but claims that the person started sending texts from a new number on March 28 and has now started to issue threats. Concerned about the safety of himself and his family members, Ram approached the Banjara Hills Police, who have filed a case and are currently investigating the matter. The police are reportedly using phone number registration details to track down the culprit.
