Shruti Haasan, a talented actress, and daughter of legendary Kamal Haasan. Has an impressive filmography that includes notable films such as Gabbar Singh, Srimanthudu, Balupu, Waltair Veerayya, and Veera Simha Reddy, among others. She is also known for her outspoken nature on various issues.
Recently, a statement made by Shruti was taken out of context, and she has come forward to clarify her stance.
During a fan meet and greet event in Chennai, Shruti spoke about how actresses have been performing dance sequences in snow for years, and it is a challenging task. She also requested filmmakers to portray women in a more realistic way, a sentiment shared by several actresses in the past. However, some sections of the media blew her statement out of proportion.
Shruti clarified that she has always spoken about her experiences and given her opinions on her life. She appreciates the freedom of sharing opinions on social and mainstream media, but finds it humorous that something she and many other artists have spoken about before would be so exaggerated today.
Furthermore, Shruti explained that she is someone who likes to joke around and talk about relevant issues in a lighter vein, and her personality cannot be changed by troublemakers.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time that her statements have been misconstrued. In the past, Shruti was attacked for not attending an event due to health reasons. Some media outlets attributed her absence to mental health issues, which she had openly talked about on her social media.
