Shriya Saran, who was the leading heroine in the early and mid-2000s still looks the same despite her entering her 40s. The actress who is doing important roles in Telugu and Hindi was last seen in Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR movie. She played the wife of Ajay Devgn in the movie.
In her latest interview, she opened up about her role in the RRR movie and about Prabhas. Shriya talked about working in RRR where she played Ram Charan’s mother.
“I didn’t know I was going to play Ram Charan’s mother. Thank God, I’m not Tarak’s mom. Because I had shot for a steamy song with him before,” shared ravishing and talented Shriya Saran when she was asked about her role in RRR. Shriya defended her role and said technically she didn’t play mother to Charan as well as she gets killed in the film before Charan’s entry.
The actress also recalled working with Prabhas and Rajamouli during Chatrapathi. She said Prabhas was a superstar back then itself. She said she hasn’t seen any change in Prabhas even now after superstardom with Baahubali. Shriya said whenever she meets Prabhas he is like “Prabhas is the same. Even if we meet now, he says Hi Darling, what’s up? Darling, how are you? He’s just sweetheart. Nothing has changed in him.” She said she is grateful to SS Rajamouli.
“I’m very grateful to people who all I’ve worked with. I’ve learned so much. The lessons I learned in my life are those I learned while doing cinema,” said Shriya.
