Shocking decision by Kantara makers

Kantara, a Kannada-dubbed movie with absolutely unfamiliar faces to Tollywood is creating a rage all over. Made on a small budget, the movie has collected over 100 crores in Kannada. Allu Aravind who bought the Telugu dubbing rights has planned to release the movie in OTT directly. However, he changed his plans at the last moment and went ahead with the theatrical release. The movie became a sensational hit and collected more than 45 crores in Telugu alone.

The movie’s OTT rights have already been sold to Amazon Prime and the movie was supposed to stream on Amazon Prime from 4th November. But, as per the latest buzz, the makers have started fresh negotiations with Prime and canceled the previous OTT deal.
