Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, is all set to make his debut in the entertainment industry. However, he will not be turning a hero but rather directing a web series titled Stardom, which will be produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s production house, Red Chilies Entertainment. The web series will revolve around the Indian film industry and is reported to consist of six episodes. Although the streaming platform has not yet been announced, it is expected to be a major player in the Indian streaming space.
Earlier, it was reported that Aryan was going to direct a feature film for Amazon Prime Video, but he later confirmed that his first project would be a web series. Aryan will serve as the showrunner and director of Stardom, which has started filming. In addition, he recently directed an ad film for the streetwear brand D’yavol X, which starred his father. Aryan stated in an interview that working with his father brought comfort on set.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming feature film, Jawan, directed by Atlee and scheduled to release on June 2.
