Allu Arjun, who attained Pan India fame with Pushpa – The Rise is all set for the sequel Pushpa – The Rule. The movie’s shoot will commence on 21st January and the movie unit will be shooting some crucial scenes in the Vizag port area for the next 20 days and will return to Hyderabad for the next schedule.
As per the latest reports, senior Telugu hero Jagapathi Babu has been roped in for an important role in the movie. However, the movie team is tight-lipped about his role in the movie. Directed by Sukumar, the movie is about the rise of a normal laborer Pushpa as the Red Sandalwood smuggling don.
The sequel will showcase the further rise and his rivalry with the corrupted police officer played by Fahad Fasil. Rashmika Mandanna will be playing the female lead and Sunil along with Anasuya will be seen in other important roles. The movie is expected to have a theatrical release either this yearend or early next year.
