Senior Bollywood Actor Passes Away at 66

The Hindi film industry is mourning the loss of Bollywood senior actor Satish Kaushik, who passed away at the age of 66 due to a heart attack at his Mumbai residence. Anupam Kher, a close friend of the actor and director, confirmed the news on Twitter.

Recently, Satish Kaushik celebrated Holi with several prominent personalities, including Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, and Richa Chadha. His sudden demise has left an irreplaceable void in the industry.

Apart from being a renowned comedian, Satish Kaushik was also a skilled screenwriter and producer. He directed several super hits like, including Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Prem, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain, Tere Naam, and Kaagaz. Satish Kaushik is particularly remembered for his iconic role as Calendar in the movie Mr. India.
