Sandeep Vanga Takes A Dig At The Film Critics

The movie “Animal” has emerged as a significant hit of the year, garnering success in theaters. Director Sandeep Vanga, in interviews following the movie’s remarkable triumph, took a direct jab at Bollywood film critics. He specifically named several prominent critics, asserting that they lack an understanding of the intricacies of cinema.

“After spending nearly five years in Bombay, I’ve realized there’s a clique of critics who favor a specific type of film. They praise those while neglecting others. This trend persisted even during ‘Arjun Reddy’,” Sandeep Reddy Vanga remarked. “There’s a culture of payments to critics. I have never indulged in that practice, nor will I ever. Throughout my career, I have refrained from sharing reviews on my official social media platforms. The only time I did was to promote Ram Gopal Varma’s review, being a huge admirer of his significant contributions to Indian cinema.”

Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Tripti Dimri, “Animal” was co-produced by Sandeep Reddy Vanga in collaboration with T Series.
