Samantha was the leading heroine a few years ago. She replaced Kajal from the top position with several blockbusters like Brundavanam, Dookudu, Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and a few others. However, post marriage to Naga Chaitanya, Samantha had slowed down a bit and did less number of movies.
But, after separating from Naga Chaitanya Samantha has become busy with several projects and is keen to get back to number one position in Tollywood. Samantha has Yashoda, Shaakunathalam, Kushi and a Hollywood project to her kitty.
Though Samantha has good projects on hand, she seems to have set a new target for herself. She wants to overtake Pooja Hegde, Rashmika Mandanna and Nayanatara who are taking around 3-4 crores remuneration per movie while Samantha is at 2 crores per movie. She is hoping to hike her remuneration after her movies become blockbusters.
