Star actress Samantha who was recently diagnosed with a rare disease is under treatment and busy promoting her upcoming thriller movie ‘Yashoda’ which is set for a grand release on 11th November. Apart from ‘Yashod’, ‘Shaakunthalam’, and a Hindi web series, Samantha has also signed a romantic entertainer ‘Khushi’ which also features Vijay Deverakonda.
Directed by Shiva Nirvana of ‘Ninnu Kori’, and ‘Majili’ fame, the movie which was supposed to have a theatrical release this December seems to have got postponed. However, the movie is doing great business and as per the latest buzz, the ‘Khushi’ movie’s non-theatrical rights have been sold for a staggering price.
As per the sources, the movie’s non-theatrical rights were sold for a whopping amount of Rs 90 crores and it includes the Hindi version rights as well. The crazy combination of Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha worked in the movie’s favor. Let’s see if the movie really lives up to the expectations or not.
