After attaining superstardom in Telugu and Tamil, Samantha has set her eye in the Hindi film industry. With the phenomenal success of the Family Man 2 web series and her item song in Pushpa becoming a rage all over, Samantha has become the most wanted heroine.
The actress who has multiple projects on hand has signed a Hindi original series that stars Varun Dhawan as the male lead. Billed to be a local original spy series, this untitled project hails from Prime Video and AGBO, the production banner co-founded by the Hollywood filmmaking duo Russo Brothers.
As per the sources, Samantha has walked out of the project due to her health issues. Its’ speculated that Samantha has been advised to remain “completely disappeared from the public for the next three months”. However, there’s been no official statement from Samantha’s team regarding the same.
Samantha was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease Myositis a few months back. It’s rumored that the actress is taking a long break from movies until she recovers completely. However, her team clarified that Samantha will resume her upcoming Bollywood projects only after May 2023.
