However, the talented actress has taken to her Instagram story to address these misleading reports and set the record straight.
In her candid statement, Samantha firmly denied receiving such an exaggerated amount for her medical treatment. With a touch of humor, she expressed surprise at the absurd figure and playfully suggested that someone must have gotten a pretty bad deal if that were true. Samantha clarified that she does not need such a vast sum and can adequately take care of herself.
“25 crores to treat myositis!? Someone got you a pretty bad deal. I am glad I am only spending the smallest fraction of that. And I don’t think I was paid in marbles for all the work I’ve done in my career. So I can easily take care of myself. Thank you. Myositis is a condition thousands suffer from. Let’s please be responsible with the information we put out regarding the treatment,” she wrote.
Expressing her disappointment at the spread of false information, Samantha criticized the circulation of fake reports. She called for the media to be more responsible when sharing sensitive details regarding medical conditions like myositis.
