Actress Samantha who was last seen in the thriller Yashoda has been taking treatment for the autoimmune disease myositis. It’s rumored that the actress has decided to take a long break from movies due to her health issues.
It’s also speculated that Samantha has walked out of the Hindi Project Citadel featuring Varun Dhawan and she’s been replaced by another actress. Now, Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s team reacted to the reports stating that the actress has been replaced in ‘Citadel’.
“Anything and everything is written about her being replaced in ‘Citadel’ is rubbish. She will begin the shoot in the second half of January,” Samantha’s publicist.
Samantha’s long-awaited period love story Shaakunthalam directed by Gunasekhar is all set for a grand theatrical release on 17th February. Apart from this, Samantha has Kushi up for release which has Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role. The movie is directed by Shiva Nirvana of Majili fame.
