According to the latest reports, the regular shoot for Chennai Story is set to commence shortly, with Samantha scheduled to film crucial scenes. The film is an adaptation of N Murali’s acclaimed novel, Arrangement of Love. Helmed by Hollywood filmmaker Philip John, Chennai Story features Samantha and Vivek Kalra in the lead roles. The story revolves around a young man who travels to Chennai after his mother’s passing, enlisting the assistance of a female detective in his quest to find his father.
Samantha was last seen in the mythological epic Shakuntalam and continues to have several high-budget projects in Hindi and Tamil in her pipeline.
