In the Telugu film industry, the relationship between film journalists and the industry has a long history. During promotional events for movies, star heroes, directors, and other technicians give respect to the journalists. However, in recent months, some journalists have been consistently asking absurd and nonsensical questions, particularly targeting heroes, heroines, and producers. This behavior is degrading the reputation of the entire media.
As an example, during a press meet for Sai Dharam Tej’s upcoming movie Virupakasha, a journalist asked a question about the film’s A certificate and whether there were any romantic/sexual scenes in the movie. While Sai Dharam Tej responded with humor and clarified that there were no such scenes, netizens expressed their anger over the journalist’s inappropriate question.
Similar instances have occurred during media interactions for Akhil Akkineni’s Agent and even SS Rajamouli’s RRR. These journalists are unknowingly or knowingly bringing down the quality of media with their behavior.
