Ritika Singh, a significant part of Rajinikanth’s upcoming project ‘Thalaivar 170,’ recently faced an injury and candidly updated fans via an Instagram video. Although she didn’t specify the exact location of the incident, speculation suggests it might be linked to her shooting schedule alongside Rajinikanth.
Sharing the injury saga on her Instagram Stories, Ritika initially posted a picture of her wounds with a touch of humor, jokingly mentioning, “Looks like I got into a fight with a werewolf!” Later, she shared a video narrating the mishap during the shoot. Expressing her dismay, she mentioned, “I’m quite upset. They warned me to be careful around the glass, but accidents happen. Sometimes momentum gets out of control, right? I think I lost control, and then this happened.”
Recognizing the seriousness, Ritika revealed her decision to take a break from filming to seek medical attention at the hospital. Although she wasn’t in immediate pain, she anticipated discomfort due to the depth of some injuries. She said, “I’m not feeling any pain right now, but I’m sure this will hurt because some of these cuts are deep. I’m heading from the set to the hospital for treatment. Hoping for a quick recovery to resume shooting soon.”
‘Thalaivar 170,’ directed by TJ Gnanavel, stars Rajinikanth along with Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, and Dushara Vijayan in pivotal roles. Rakshan and GM Sundar form part of the supporting cast. Produced by Lyca Productions, the film features music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by SR Kathir, and editing by Philomin Raj. Despite this setback, fans eagerly await the film’s release due to its stellar cast and talented creative team.
