Rishab Shetty is the latest sensation in Indian cinema. The massive success of Kantara movie made him a household name. The actor who started his career as an actor later turned director and producer. Initially, he was seen in supporting and negative roles before shifting to lead roles in Bell Bottom movie.
He attained the Pan India craze with the latest blockbuster Kantara which collected over 400 crores worldwide. Hombale banner which produced the KGF franchise produced this movie with a budget of Rs 16 Cr and ended up making a gross collection of more than Rs 400 Cr from the theatres alone. As per the sources, Kishore, who played the Forest Officer, and the heroine Saptami Gowda were paid Rs 1 Cr each. The movie’s antagonist Achyuth Kumar who played the king’s descendant was paid Rs 40 lakh. Actor Pramod Shetty who played the role of Sudharaka was paid Rs 60 lakhs.
According to the reports Rishab Shetty was paid Rs 4 Cr for his work as the protagonist and director of the film. It still remains unknown whether the production company paid any extra amount to Rishab Shetty after the movie attained massive success.
