RGV and Poonam Kaur Indirectly Target Pawan Kalyan

The recently released film “BRO,” starring Pawan Kalyan, has achieved a remarkable milestone, crossing Rs 100 crore at the box office within just a week of its release. However, the movie has been caught up in a controversy due to the portrayal of the character “30 yrs Pruthvi,” which allegedly bears a resemblance to AP Minister Ambati Rambabu.

The controversy surrounding the character has been gaining momentum, drawing attention from various personalities in the film industry and politics. Actress Poonam Kaur, who is known for her anti-Pawan Kalyan stance, indirectly addressed the situation with a cryptic post on social media, stating, “Politics has become so entertaining, Entertainment has become so serious! #justthoughts.”

Joining the discussion, maverick director Ram Gopal Varma shared his perspective on the matter, posting, “NO Sis, I actually think POLITICS has become CINEMA and CINEMA became POLITICAL.”

“BRO” is a remake of the Tamil film “Vinodhaya Sitham” and has been directed by Samuthirakhani. The film features prominent actors such as Sai Dharam Tej, Priya Prakash Varrier, and Kethika Sharma in important roles. The controversy surrounding the film’s character portrayal has brought attention to the overlapping relationship between politics and cinema in today’s society.
