Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal were safely rescued amidst the Chennai floods caused by Cyclone Michaung. The southern states of the country continue to grapple with the aftermath of the cyclone.
New images of Aamir Khan aboard a rescue boat have surfaced online, shared by Vishnu Vishal on social media. Aamir, dressed in a white kurta and jeans, was seen alongside Vishnu Vishal and his wife, badminton player Jwala Gutta, during the rescue operation.
Vishnu Vishal expressed gratitude to the fire and rescue department for their efforts in aiding those stranded. He acknowledged the ongoing rescue operations in Karapakkam and praised the Tamil Nadu government and administrative personnel for their relentless work during these challenging times. He also commended Tamil Star Ajith for his assistance and shared a picture with him.
The heavy rains caused significant flooding in various parts of Chennai, impacting public life severely. Areas like Wallajah Road, Mount Road, Anna Salai, Chepauk, and others experienced inundation due to continuous heavy rainfall.
