Renu Desai, who has been absent from the silver screen for nearly two decades since her last film, ‘Johnny’ in 2008, is now delighted to announce her comeback in Ravi Teja’s ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao.’ During the film’s promotions, the actress revealed that she had been offered a role in Mahesh Babu’s recent film, ‘Sarkaru Vari Pata,’ in which she was to play the character of a bank officer.
However, she had to decline the role for undisclosed reasons, explaining that she couldn’t disclose the details to avoid unnecessary controversy. She stated, “I had the opportunity to be a part of the movie ‘Sarkaru Vari Pata’ and was offered the role of a bank officer, which I really liked. I had a desire to act, but for some undisclosed reasons, it didn’t materialize. Unfortunately, I cannot share those reasons to prevent unwarranted controversies. Sometimes, it’s best to remain silent.”
In ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao,’ Renu takes on the character of Hemalatha Lavanam, the daughter of Gurram Joshua. The film also stars Nupur Sanon, Gayatri Bharadwaj, Murali Sharma, and others in pivotal roles.
