Young Tiger NTR is currently busy in the production of “Devara,” an intense action film directed by Koratala Siva, generating massive anticipation among fans. In addition to this project, he has also committed to join the cast of Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming spy thriller, “War 2,” where Hrithik Roshan will play the lead role. Notably, NTR is one of the highest-paid actors in Tollywood.
Insiders reveal that he is set to earn a whopping 50 crores for his role in “War 2.” Comparatively, NTR reportedly received 45 crores for his involvement in “RRR,” which consumed three years of his time. However, in “War 2,” his screen time will be considerably shorter, justifying the hefty fee. Sources suggest that Yash Raj Films, the production banner behind the movie, has already agreed to this substantial payment.
Aditya Chopra, the creative force behind the film, has penned a powerful and challenging role for NTR in “War 2,” which is expected to pose a significant challenge to Hrithik Roshan, who plays the lead role. Shooting for the film is rumored to commence towards the end of the year.
Regarding “Devara,” Janhvi Kapoor stars as the leading lady, while seasoned Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan takes on the role of the antagonist. Shina Tom Chacko, who has been gaining recognition in Tollywood, plays a pivotal role in the movie. The film is presented by Kalyan Ram under the banner of ‘NTR Arts,’ with Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Kosaraju Harikrishna serving as producers. The talented Ratnavelu ISC handles the cinematography, and Sabu Cyril is the production designer. Editing is in the capable hands of Sreekar Prasad, while the young musical sensation Anirudh Ravinchander is in charge of the music. “Devara” is scheduled for release on April 5, 2024.
