Razakar is a film directed by Yata Satyanarayana and directed by Yata Satyanarayana. Starring Bobby Simha, Vedika, Anushya Tripathi, Prema, Indraja and Makarand Desh Pandey under the banner of Samarveer creations and produced by Guduru Narayana Reddy. The song ‘Bharti Bharti Uyyalo’ and the teaser which released recently created sensation. Recently the trailer of this film has been released. The film unit spoke at the theatrical trailer launch event.
Director K. Raghavendra Rao said, “Thanks to Guduru Narayana Reddy for producing a film like ‘Razakar’. This film was made to educate the youth about history. We are at peace today because of many sacrifices. If history is shown in visual form like this, it will be more understandable. Watching the trailer gave me goosebumps. My disciple, Yata Satyanarayana, who worked with me for ten years, has done very well. It seems like you write songs with chalk blood. Without Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, we would not be where we are today. Indianness still exists because of people like Radha Manohar Das. This film should be released all over the world. All the best to the film team.”
Story writer Bharavi said, “Why didn’t I make this film after seeing the teaser and trailer of ‘Rajakar’? I was sad. But I am happy that Yata did it. Regardless of which Pan-Indian director’s name is given to this film, it is as if it was made by him. This film is going to elevate our film industry to another level on the global stage. All of Tollywood should also come forward to promote this film.”
Radha Manohar Das said, “When I saw the trailer of ‘Razakar,’ I felt very emotional and sad. Thanks to our Guduru Narayana Reddy for inviting me to this event. If history is ignored, it will not be forgotten. If we forget history, we are doomed. It has not even been a hundred years since these events took place. Movies like this should come with the intention of preventing such atrocities from happening again. Why did ‘The Kashmir Files’ and ‘Kerala Files’ come? History has come. It was made to prevent such things from happening again. Sardar Vallabhbhai is like a hero for our country. We are not against any person or religion; we are against the mentality of Rajakars. It takes a gutsy producer to make history like this. Guduru Narayana Reddy has that courage. The film is set to release on March 1. Everyone should watch the film,” he said.
Director Yata Satyanarayana said, “I entered the industry with admiration for Raghavendra Rao. He recognized me within three months of my arrival. I started serials like ‘Manoyagnam’ and ‘Rajamouli’ garu’s ‘Shanti Nivasam.’ They recognized my talent and molded me into a sculptor. Without my Guru Raghavendra Rao, I would not exist. My marriage was also arranged by him. I am happy that my Guru came and blessed our film. After Raghavendra Rao, Guduru Narayana Reddy holds that place in my heart. When a film like ‘Razakar’ is released, there are threatening calls and negative comments. I made this film to tell about our history, our pain, the sufferings, and sacrifices of our ancestors, those who fought for this land. This film is dedicated not only to Hyderabad but to India and to everyone who has been oppressed in the world. The media should take this picture to the people. Don’t rate history. Give a zero rating for my next movie. We made this film to expose the injustices done by Razakars. Thank you to everyone who worked on our film.”
Producer Guduru Narayana Reddy said, “Thanks to Raghavendra Rao and Radha Manohar Das, who attended our film event. Not many people know about the history of our Hyderabad and the significance of September 17. Let Razakars not be born again. That’s why we portrayed this history in a film. In our country, all religions are united. The atrocities of that day cannot be tolerated now – the beatings, guns, and whippings were not tolerated by the present generation. They have not seen it. We decided to showcase our history to everyone, even if the budget increased three times, even if my properties were sold. The media should take our film to the people. For the country, for the citizens of the country, the film was not made for any other purpose. Thanks to our film team who worked very hard,” he said.
Suddala Ashok Teja said, “This is history. This is blood history. A history of blood letters. It is an attempt to show the historical fact of how the history of Razakar’s bloodlines was etched on Pothu soil. This is not an attempt – it is a Yajna performed on the silver screen. Thanks to Yata Satyanarayana and Guduru Narayana Reddy, who made this movie as children of freedom fighters. It is not a conflict between two religions. There are also Hindus among Razakars, just like our Indians were among the British who burnt Alluri. There are also Hindus among Razakars. The great poet Maghdoom Moinuddin, who called for armed struggle against the Razakars, was among them. Qasim Razvi first beheaded Imroz magazine editor Shoaibullah Khan. I wrote two songs for it. I feel lucky that Suddala has the DNA of Hanuman, so I wrote songs for it. The film is set to release on March 1. This is not only a sensation – I want millions of people to watch this film and wish it rains.”
Anasuya said, “Thanks to the producer Guduru Narayana Reddy, who bravely took on the film Razakar and showcased the history to everyone. Thanks to the director Yata Satyanarayana, who gave me such a good role. Everyone should know what happened in our Nizam, Hyderabad. Not the French Revolution, not about Alexander – let’s know ourselves first. Everyone will be shocked to see this movie on March 1. I have already seen this movie. Indraja, Prema, Vedika, Simha, Makarandh have acted wonderfully. Cinema is a great medium. I am very happy to have acted in this film.
Cameraman Ramesh said, ‘Even though I am a Hyderabadi, I feel ashamed that I don’t know about this history. Not 1947 – I just gave a hug to Yata garu who said that we got independence in 1948. Guduru Narayana Reddy never questioned us even if the budget was high. Thanks to the directors and producers who believed in us and gave us a chance. He said that the film will mesmerize everyone.”
