Ravi Teja’s Movie Lands In A Trouble

Mass Raja Ravi Teja is gearing up to entertain the audience with his upcoming film “Tiger Nageswara Rao.” Directed by Vamsee Krishna, the movie serves as a biographical depiction of the notorious thief Tiger Nageswara Rao from Stuartpuram, Andhra Pradesh, who instilled fear during the 1970s.

The recently unveiled teaser received an overwhelming response, and the film is scheduled for a nationwide release in multiple languages on October 20, 2023, as a special attraction for the Dasara festival.

However, the film’s producers faced an unexpected setback from the High Court. Following a complaint filed by Chukka Palraj, who alleged that the filmmakers disrespected and offended the sentiments of the Stuartpuram community, the High Court expressed strong disapproval towards the creators of “Tiger Nageswara Rao.”

A bench consisting of Justice Dheeraj Singh Thakur and Justice Akhula Venkata Sesha Sai interrogated the filmmakers about the release of the teaser without obtaining prior clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The bench inquired about the societal message conveyed by the release of such teasers.

The court issued notices to producer Abhishek Agarwal and advised the petitioner to involve the CBFC as a respondent. Palraj accused the creators of offending the Erukala community in the teaser, prompting the court to raise concerns about the teaser’s language usage. The court has scheduled the next hearing for September 27.
