After the debacle of Disco Raja, mass maharaja Ravi Teja now has his eyes set on Krack. The film starts Shruti Haasan who will be seen in a Telugu film after a long time. It is being directed by Gopichand Malineni, who is betting on the lead pair for the second time.
In the past, Gopichand Malineni had made Balupu with Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan in the lead and the film was a good hit. It also had a successful run on television. The oomph factor of Shruti Haasan mixed with the mass maharaja’s fan following worked in the film’s favour.
Now, Krack has raised enough eyebrows once again due to the lead pair. However, it remains to be seen how the audience will receive the film, as Ravi Teja’s market is terribly down with a series of flops. On the other hand, Shruti Haasan too hasn’t appeared in films in any language of late.
Barring a song, the shooting of the film is more or less complete. The film-makers are now looking to sell the satellite and digital rights. While there was news that Zee was interested in the deal, it backed out in the last minute. Meanwhile, talk from the sets is that Ravi Teja wants some portions of the film reshot as he wants a hit very badly.
The film is slated for release in January 2021.
