Ravi Teja Gets A Surprise From Assam And Bengal

During the filming of his upcoming movie ‘Eagle.’ Telugu superstar Ravi Teja experienced a pleasant surprise as he discovered a dedicated fan base in unexpected locations such as Assam and Darjeeling.

Expressing his delight in a video interview, Ravi Teja shared, “Upon my arrival at Calcutta airport, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a sizable and enthusiastic crowd. Initially, I assumed it might be for someone else, but to my joy, I realized they were there for me—a truly heartwarming surprise.” He further added, “Shooting in Darjeeling was another memorable experience as many locals visited my sets, expressing their affection. Learning that they regularly watch my films on TV and even remember nicknames like ‘Mass Maharaja’ filled me with happiness.”

Recognizing the significance of his upcoming film ‘Eagle’ in revitalizing his career, especially following the lackluster performance of his recent movies like ‘Ravanasura’ and ‘Tiger Nageshwara Rao’ at the box office, Ravi Teja aims to blend dark comedy with action drama to steer his career back on track. Additionally, he is actively involved in the Telugu remake of the Hindi film ‘Raid,’ titled “Mr. Bachchan,” with high hopes of recreating box office success.

However, amidst the emergence of a new generation of heroes, Ravi Teja acknowledges the importance of consistently delivering successful films. The declining Hindi dubbing rates for his movies and lukewarm theatrical figures underscore the necessity of producing compelling content to maintain relevance in the industry.
