JD Chakravarthy made his acting debut in a negative role with the sensational blockbuster Shiva which also marked the debut of legendary director Ram Gopal Varma. After appearing in negative roles in a few movies, JD Chakravarthy turned hero and delivered some amazing hits like Satya, Gulabi, Bombayi Priydu, and Anaganaga Oka Roju. Later, he tried his luck in direction, but couldn’t attain much success.
Like his mentor RGV, JD Chakravarthy has always been a controversial man. His statements, behavior received a lot of flak. There were some rumors that he was slapped by Telugu actor Chalapathi Rao on the movie sets for his behavior.
Now, senior actress Rambha who shared screen space with JD Chakravarthy for Bombayi Priyudu movie made some controversial comments about him. She said that JD Chakravarthy is one good friend of hers, but, called him a big liar when it comes to maintaining friendships. Rambha also said that she felt very upset with JD as he skipped her wedding.
Rambha, who is on a break from movies after marriage is planning to make a comeback if offered good roles. She is not ready to do the mother role as of now.
