Young hero Roshan Kanakala, who made an impressive debut with Bubblegum, is set to enthrall in a completely contrasting role in his upcoming film Mowgli 2025, directed by Sandeep Raj, the youngest director to win a national award with his debut film Colour Photo. Produced by the visionary TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad on People Media Factory, Mowgli 2025 made good impression with its posters and a birthday special glimpse.
Meanwhile, Global Star Ram Charan unveiled a glimpse called The World Of Mowgli. It opens with Nani’s voice, softly narrating a love story in 2025, set in forest backdrop. In this secluded world, a youngster disrupts the lives of 30 people, not as a gangster or a smuggler, but as a lover.
Director Sandeep Raj takes a refreshing approach by setting a love story deep in the forest, giving it a distinct visual and emotional tone. The protagonist, reminiscent of Mowgli, is unfamiliar with urban life but deeply attuned to the wilderness. Nani’s narration adds further depth to this unconventional narrative.
Roshan Kanakala shines in his rugged and intense avatar, embracing the raw, untamed essence of his character. Scenes of him galloping on horseback hint at the dedication and preparation he invested in the role. Bandi Saroj Kumar delivers a chilling performance as the antagonist, while Sakkshi Mhadolkar looks stunning as Roshan’s love interest. Their crackling chemistry is palpable, with a lip-lock sequence underscoring the romantic intensity. Harsha Chemudu also makes an appearance.
Cinematographer Rama Maruthi M captures the dense, wild terrain with striking visuals, while Kaala Bhairava’s powerful score elevates the film’s emotional and dramatic beats. The production values are rich and immersive.
