Tollywood stars aren’t received very warmly in the North. Yes, Prabhas became a huge star after Baahubali but that was more due to the content and Rajamouli’s vision. His next release Saaho also did well but nowhere compared to Baahubali. Allu Arjun is also making his way to become a pan-India star after the phenomenal success of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Another star who is looking to make a name for himself as a pan-Indian star is Ram Charan.
Almost 7 years ago he tried his luck in Bollywood with Zanjeer but that film failed miserably. After finishing RRR, Ram Charan wants to do a film which will further boost his image as a pan-Indian star. So he is looking out for scripts that can appeal to all regions in India.
Many in the industry feel that there is no need for Charan to go for such projects where huge risk and reputation are involved. Many opine that he shouldn’t repeat the mistake of Zanjeer again. Some of his fans also say that with the right director and script, Charan has all the potential to challenge the biggest stars in Bollywood.
