Rajamouli-Mahesh Babu’s Movie In Three Parts?

Director SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film with Superstar Mahesh Babu, tentatively titled #SSMB29, has been highly anticipated after the massive success of Baahubali and RRR. Reports suggest that the film’s script has been developed as a franchise with multiple parts, and it will be a globe-trotting action adventure film. The latest update reveals that the film will be made as a trilogy, with Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad finalizing the script for the first part. While several prominent actors from across the nation and international film industries are expected to play roles in all three parts, the central characters will remain the same.

To ensure the film’s success in international markets, the pre- production and workshops will play a huge role, with workshops planned on a large scale towards the end of this year. As the film involves heavy VFX, workshops will be conducted for several departments before moving to the sets. The news of the film being mounted as a Trilogy has created excitement among fans, even though no concrete details have been released yet.

Mahesh Babu is currently busy working on his upcoming film with Trivikram Srinivas, #SSMB28, which features Pooja Hegde and Sree Leela as the female leads. Meanwhile, Rajamouli is enjoying international recognition for RRR, with the Naatu Naatu song winning the Oscar Award for Best Original Song category, featuring NTR Jr and Ramcharan and composed by MM Keeravani and penned by Chandrabose. The actor will resume shooting for #SSMB29 after completing his work on #SSMB28. The film is set to release on Sankranthi 2024.
