Project K, a much-awaited sci-fi thriller starring Prabhas, is creating a lot of buzz among fans across the country. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film is set to hit the theatres on January 12, 2024, and boasts of an impressive cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. Nag Ashwin aims to elevate Prabhas’ status to a pan-world star with this film.
However, there are speculations that Project K may be facing political troubles. The movie is produced by Aswini Dutt under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies. Recently, Aswini Dutt made controversial comments indirectly targeting the ruling YSRCP and the AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy over the Nandi awards.
As a result, YSRCP leaders are attacking Aswini Dutt and movie lovers are concerned that the government and its leaders may target Project K during its release around Sankranti 2024. This is not surprising as the YSRCP government has a history of targeting those who speak against them, as seen in their treatment towards Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s films, Vakeel Saab and Bheemla Nayak.
Considering the recent debacles of Prabhas’ films, Saaho and Radhe Shyam, Project K has become the most anticipated movie of the actor. It remains to be seen what fate awaits the film in Andhra Pradesh at the hands of CM Jagan and his government.
