Though actress Neha Shetty acted in ‘Mehbooba’ movie, she gained significant popularity with her role in the movie ‘DJ Tillu’. This popularity is something she aims to carry forward to the sequel of ‘DJ Tillu’, titled ‘Tillu Square’. Initially, Neha Shetty wasn’t offered a chance in this film.
Instead, Anupama Parameswaran was chosen as the heroine. But the immense craze Neha Shetty garnered with her role in the first part led her to bag a guest role in this film. However, Neha Shetty declined to act in this movie, as she has new projects on her hands. This led to her replacement without altering the release dates.
Subsequently, the producer got disappointed, but he finally convinced her for a guest role and heard he paid remuneration on par with of the heroine which made Neha Shetty quite happy.
