This Sankranthi, a flurry of star-studded movies like “Guntur Kaaram,” “Hanu Man,” “Eagle,” “Saindhav,” and “Naa Saami Ranga” are set for a theatrical clash. Recognizing the challenge posed by the simultaneous release of five films, the producers convened under Dil Raju’s leadership to discuss the potential repercussions of this clash.
Initially, speculation arose regarding the possibility of Teja Sajja’s “Hanu Man” postponing its release due to pressure. However, the makers clarified that they’re committed to a significant release in North India on January 12th, backed by an ongoing promotional campaign. Amidst this, discussions are emerging suggesting that if “Hanu Man” cannot adjust its schedule, distributors are proposing a delay for Nagarjuna’s “Naa Saami Ranga.” The rationale behind this suggestion stems from Nagarjuna’s film not having finalized its final cut, OTT deal, and other rights, potentially requiring more time to secure these aspects before release.
Nevertheless, Nagarjuna is hesitant to postpone the film, given the historically lucrative and fortunate Sankranthi season for his movies. The outcome of these deliberations remains to be seen.
