Heroines in the Indian film industry have always been portrayed in a stereotypical way. They were often seen as mere props, meant to look good and dance around the hero in the songs. However, with the changing times, there has been a significant shift in the way women are portrayed on screen. Heroines are now more than just glamour dolls, and many have shown a keen interest in doing female-oriented movies.
However, Pooja Hegde, one of the most sought-after heroines in the Telugu film industry, seems to be an exception to this trend. She doesn’t want to get into female-centric movies at this point in her career and is happy doing the usual glamour roles.
In a recent interview, she said that she enjoys doing commercial films and that she is not yet ready to take up challenging roles in female- oriented movies. She wants to stick to her comfort zone and continue doing what she does best.
Currently, Pooja Hegde is busy shooting for Mahesh Babu’s upcoming movie with Trivikram. The film is one of the most anticipated releases of the year, and fans are eagerly waiting to see Pooja on the big screen once again.
Unfortunately, Pooja Hegde’s Bollywood dreams seem to have hit a roadblock once again. Her recent release ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ with Salman Khan turned out to be a dud at the box office. While Pooja’s performance was appreciated, the film failed to strike a chord with the audience.
