“Guntur Kaaram,” a film that has faced several issues including production delays, is currently undergoing significant changes in its cast and crew. The latest exclusive update reveals that Pooja Hegde has been removed from the project.
Pooja Hegde has been going through a rough patch as her recent films in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi have failed to perform well at the box office. Consequently, director Trivikram has reluctantly replaced her with Sreeleela.
While Sreeleela was already part of the project, she has now been elevated to the main female lead. This decision was influenced by Mahesh Babu. Sreeleela already has nearly half a dozen movies in her lineup, and taking on the role of the main actress in “Guntur Kaaram” will add another significant project to her portfolio.
As of now, there is no information regarding the removal of Thaman as the music director. After a two-month break, production for “Guntur Kaaram” is scheduled to resume on June 24. Directed by Trivikram and produced by S Radha Krishna of Haarika Haasine Creations, the film is slated for release in January 2024.
