Ever since Pawan Kalyan started his Varahi Yatra from Prathipadu constituency on June 14, there has been a significant shift in state politics. Pawan has been capturing the attention of the masses by directly criticizing various issues. Each time he visits a constituency, the YSR Congress Party is compelled to respond to the points he raises. In response, the YCP has resorted to an old tactic, similar to how they dealt with Mudragada Padmanabham, who is technically outside the YCP but used against Pawan.
Interestingly, some YCP MLAs and leaders who aspire for tickets are either speaking positively about Pawan or remaining silent, suggesting that they see some advantage in his political presence. The opposition to the government is already strong, and Pawan’s entry has added a new wave of momentum.
As he continues his journey across the state, the Varahi Yatra, the YCP is cautiously calculating the potential changes that may occur. They may even consider the need for Pawan’s support. Nonetheless, a few ardent supporters of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy and loyalists of the party are dismissively expressing their opinions, although their relevance is being questioned.
Pawan Kalyan’s Varahi Yatra has sparked a notable transformation in state politics, with him effectively engaging the public and the YCP responding strategically to his criticisms. The political landscape is evolving, and the potential impact of Pawan’s movements across the state is being closely monitored.
