Apart from ongoing Acharya, Megastar Chiranjeevi is gearing up to remake Tamil film, Vedalam and Malayalam political drama, Lucifer soon. While Meher Ramesh will be directing Vedalam remake, Lucifer’s Telugu version will be helmed by mass director VV Vinayak. Both the remakes are expected to go on sets sometime in 2021.
Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that Chiranjeevi will be remaking yet another Tamil film, titled, Yennai Arindhaal. Released in 2015, Yennai Arindhaal was directed by Gautam Menon and bankrolled by AM Ratnam.
As per the buzz, Chiru and Charan recently watched Yennai Arindhaal and impressed with the film content they acquired the Telugu remake rights.
However, an official announcement regarding the same is awaited.
