Nupur Sanon’s Decision To Leave Manchu Vishnu’s ‘Kannappa’ Seems Immature

Nupur Sanon made a significant career move by venturing into Telugu cinema with her role opposite Ravi Teja in ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao.’ Initially, she had also signed up for ‘Kannappa’ alongside Manchu Vishnu. Nupur’s choice to withdraw from ‘Kannappa’ may have been influenced by advice from well-wishers, possibly due to concerns about Manchu Vishnu’s recent lack of major hits.

While Nupur cited date conflicts, her decision was supported by Manchu Vishnu, who released her from the project, despite her presence at the film’s grand muhurat. However, it appears that Nupur’s decision might have been miscalculated, as her role in Ravi Teja’s movie lacked depth and significant impact, limited to a few scenes and a song within the action film.

In the meantime, ‘Kannappa’ gained substantial momentum and emerged as a prominent project in Tollywood. This was further bolstered by the star-studded cast, including Prabhas, Nayantara, Mohan Lal, and Shivrajkumar, making it a much-anticipated pan-Indian devotional saga. Nupur’s choice to step away from the project, apart from scheduling conflicts, may not have been the most advantageous one.
