The highly successful Indian movie RRR is on the verge of winning the coveted Best Original Song category at the Oscars, much to the delight of its vast fan base. Ram Charan, one of the heroes in the movie, has already been in the United States and made an appearance on the popular KTLA Morning News show.
During the interview, when asked if he would perform the hit song “Naatu Naatu” on the Oscars stage, Ram Charan expressed his desire to do so as it would be the perfect gift to give back to the billions of people who made the song a global sensation.
Ram Charan also confirmed that he and co-star NTR would perform the song at the ceremony. The director, SS Rajamouli, music composer MM Keeravaani, singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, as well as other members of the RRR cast and crew, are also expected to attend the Academy Awards ceremony, which is set to take place on March 12, 2023.
