Nithiin, who has been striving for a significant success, recently appeared in “EXTRA” with the tagline ‘Ordinary Man,’ directed by Vakkantham Vamsi, featuring Sreeleela as the lead actress. The film is produced by Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy under Sreshth Movies in collaboration with Aditya Movies and Entertainments and Ruchira Entertainments.
Released alongside Nani’s “Hi Nanna” on December 8th (with “Hi Nanna” hitting theaters on December 7th), “EXTRA” received unfavorable reviews from the morning shows onwards, struggling to gain traction at the box office. Its messy storyline and outdated treatment hindered its chances of emerging as a successful film, with Nithiin’s performance and comedy timing being the sole saving grace.
The film features a key role played by Angry Man Dr. Rajasekhar, along with Sampath Raj, Rao Ramesh, and others. “EXTRA” is now set for a digital premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar from January 19th. For those who missed it in theaters, the movie will be available for streaming on Hotstar.
The storyline follows Abhinay, a boy who enters the industry as a junior artist and strives to become a hero. The film offers entertainment with its blend of comedy, good music, and action elements, and now it is set to reach a broader audience through Disney+ Hotstar.
