Nikhil, known for his success with Karthikeya 2, is gearing up for his next venture, Swayambhu, following the setback of Spy at the box office. The actor, set to feature in another pan-India film, will portray the role of a Hanuman devotee in this upcoming project, opposite Samyuktha.
Having released posters and a first glimpse, Nikhil is depicted as a fighter in the movie, having undergone wrestling training for authenticity. Swayambhu is progressing rapidly in its production, with Nikhil’s character adding to the growing list of Hanuman devotees in the industry, inspired by the success of the film HanuMan.
Scheduled for a pan-India release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages, Swayambhu won’t feature the physical presence of Lord Hanuman. Nikhil confirmed the film’s release in theaters worldwide, targeting Dussehra or Diwali 2023.
Directed and written by Bharat Krishnamachari, Swayambhu is produced by Bhuvan and Srikar under the Pixel Studios Banner, with Tagore Madhu presenting the film. The music is helmed by Ravi Basrur, known for his work in the KGF series and Salaar, while Manoj Paramahamsa serves as the cinematographer.
Co-produced by Vijay Kamisetty and GT Anand, Swayambhu features dialogues by Vasudev Muneppagari, and M Prabhaharan takes on the role of Production Designer. The film aims to bring Nikhil’s dedicated portrayal of a Hanuman devotee to the big screen, promising a unique and engaging cinematic experience.
